September is the New Year

I have been reading a lot of articles lately about September being the start of a new year. The articles are making sense to me. As the lazy days of summer draw to a close, we begin our normal routines again.

You buy new clothes and supplies for back to school.

New schedules are being made.

Your various group meetings begin again.

You begin to cook indoors again.

You prepare your home for the coming fall and winter.

Your favorite tv shows begin again.

September would be a great time to start your new year’s resolutions. They would be easier to keep!

So why not make September The New Year! We can keep the celebration in January just to break up the winter doldrums!
